There Are REBELS Members And There is Everyone Else. What's The Difference?

As a Member of the REBELS Auto Club you have privileges, not available to others. For example, you don't even have to live in Lincoln. A good example is our Sister Club, the Rocky Mountain REBELS, in Wyoming and we have Members as far away as Arkansas, California, Oklahoma and Texas. 


As a paid up Member in good standing, you will have all privileges granted to Members including the right to attend all Meetings including Executive Board Meetings if you want. You also get the opportunity to participate in dozens of REBELS Events.

1. Low Dues

 Dues are only $18.00 a year for Adults and $15.00 a year for Youth (18 and under).   

2. Christmas Party

 Normally $30.00 per person, but  included in your dues

3. HUGE Benefits

As a paid up Member in good standing, you have all privileges granted to Members including the right to attend all Meetings including Executive Board Meetings if you want.  

4. Communications

You receive a monthly Newsletter at no charge which has a complete recap of the last meeting and an update of upcoming activities. You also have access to the REBELS AUTO CLUB Website and Various REBELS Alerts, (interim Emails) with special information and events, car shows, etc.   

5. Opportunity

You have notice of and the opportunity to get involved in any and all Events, Shows and functions. Participation is encouraged but NOT mandatory.   

6. Great People

You will discover the support and fellowship of more than 100 new friends, willing to help you get the most out of your Membership and automotive projects.

Promote Lincoln

  • The REBELS represent Lincoln. As a Service Club, the REBELS do many acts of Community Service and lots of things to enhance people’s views of the city
  • SCCA Races: REBELS Members volunteer at the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) National Finals at Airpark every year
  • SWAP Meet: REBELS Members volunteer at this popular event held each year at the Lancaster Event Center
  • Coordination with other car clubs. REBELS Members are friendly with everyone.
  • REBELS Car Show: The largest Car Show in Lincoln is held at Pioneer Park each Summer and is 100% staffed by Members and Volunteers. Spectator Admission is FREE.
  • REBELS has a “Youth Division”
  • REBELS sponsor scholarships each year through the Josh Grimes Foundation, for High School Seniors to further their automotive education.
  • REBELS send “Care Packages” to our troops overseas

Largest and Most Active Car Club in Lincoln

There are some 14 Car Clubs in Lincoln. The REBELS Auto Club is the oldest, largest, most active and most stable. 


Here are just a few Club Events:

  • The Club sponsors several Poker runs each year to various and interesting locations
  • The Club sponsors “Garage Scenes” each year, giving Members new information and ideas
  • You are always encouraged, but not required to attend monthly meetings, which are held in different locations each month throughout the year
  • The REBELS have a Christmas Party each year for Members
  • The Club sponsors several car cruises throughout the year to various and interesting locations 
  • Club Shirts, Jackets and Car Plaques are available to Members at cost
  • Free REBELS calendars as part of Membership
  • Website access as part of Membership
  • Free Monthly newsletter as part of Membership
  • Free Monthly eLetter as part of Membership
  • Motorcycle Owners and enthusiasts are also welcome to become Members of the REBELS Auto Club
  • You do not have to have a classic car or a motorcycle to be a Member
  • REBELS Members with convertibles are invited to participate in University of Nebraska Homecoming Parade
  • An increasing numbers of REBELS Members serve as Docents (tour guides) at the Museum of American Speed, one of the oldest and largest speed collections in the world
  • Club Officers are nominated and elected by Members at Regular Meetings each year
  • Show and Shines are held regularly throughout the year, many at Assisted Living Locations 
  • The REBELS work together and respect each other as Members.
